Born to military parents at Fort Irwin, California, Camille grew up in the vibrant desert landscape of Tucson, Arizona where from a young age she loved to draw and paint. As the daughter of an Army Colonel, Camille relied on her formative (military) upbringing, creativity and pragmatic spirit to attend Art Center College of Design. She graduated at the top of her class with Distinction.
Camille’s career in branding and communication design was launched at Maddocks & Company’s Los Angeles studio, where Camille’s innate sense of trends, proven design thinking methodology (from ideation to implementation) and hand-crafted, strategic solutions advanced her from junior designer to associate creative director for Los Angeles.
Camille worked extensively in the health & beauty, food & beverage, financial services, sporting goods, automotive, consumer electronics and technology, and cosmetic industries—developing strategic brand identities, new-product launches, package design systems and comprehensive collateral programs. Notable clients include: Bell Helmets, Giorgio of Beverly Hills, Gelson’s, Dell, Avon, Bushnell, Kraft and Procter & Gamble.
After her tenure at Maddock’s & Company, Camille’s entrepreneurial spirit, innate creative instincts and base of crystallized knowledge primed her for a new venture: to work with her husband, Andrea Favilli, to grow Favilli Studio—a fledgling entertainment design company—into an innovative design firm, working globally in various industries. From retail, hospitality and entertainment to intellectual property, cultural destinations and urban revitalization. Camille helped to shape and co-lead every aspect of the creative process encompassing experience strategy—blue-sky, design and production to building and managing teams, conducting market-research, defining criteria, objectives and establishing budgets and project schedules.
With her keen aesthetic sensibilities and nurturing leadership style, Camille is involved in every aspect of the company’s creative and innovative process and hand in hand with Andrea, the operation of the business. As a result, Favilli Studio grew into an international company and a slate of projects in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Notable clients include: The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney Imagineering, Israel’s Arbel By The Sea, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, D23, Roy E. Disney, Shamrock Holdings, WATG, Rosewood Resorts & Hotels, Klaus Schwab/The World Economic Forum, Gensler, Sol Kerzner / Sun International, The Sands Group/Venetian, The Transpacific Yacht Race, The City of Burbank, The Disney Channel, The Jack Morton Company, Universal Creative, Bass Pro Shops, Mercury One, Cinecitta Studios, Snowbird, Dragon Holdings Tourism Limited, Jinhu Yao Cultural Park, Wanda, Chunguang Group’s Dream World Resort, Zhonghong Holdings and Journey To The West—Huai’an.
